Dr. Junseok Hwang is a full professor at Seoul National University (SNU), holding positions in both the Technology Management, Economics, and Policy Program and the Graduate School of Engineering Practice, and currently serves as the Head of Department for the Integrated Major in Smart City Global Convergence. An expert with a Ph.D. in Information Science and Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh, his research focuses on the intersection of technological innovation, ICT policy, network economics, and smart city development. He holds multiple directorial roles at SNU, including the Global R&DB Center (GRC) and the ASEAN Smart City Professional Program (ASPP), demonstrating a significant commitment to research, policy, and international development in the field of emerging technologies.
